CURIOSITY ROOMS
Reimagining the retail experience with a content engine designed to deliver Google’s most successful Pixel launch ever.
Set in the heart of Piccadilly Circus, Google Curiosity Rooms was a destination designed to turn the everyday objects into something more extraordinary.
From a reimagined laundrette made for discovering new fashion through an AI lens, to a car wash perfect for group selfies, the upper floors were all powered by feature-led Pixel 3 experiences. Experiences and architecture that were also designed to reach an audience through guest’s social feeds.
Downstairs, the 15,000 square foot basement became the home of our cultural events – from podcasts to catwalk shows and dining experiences. Powered by nine media collaborators (inc. Vogue, The Guardian, Hypebeast, and GQ) it helped turn Curiosity Rooms into a content engine producing over 200 pieces of exclusive content designed to tell extraordinary stories and increase purchase consideration at scale.
Over 5 weeks, Google Curiosity Rooms attracted 71,000+ visitors, increased purchase consideration by +34%, and achieved a reach of over 80m through brand experiences, content creation, and partnerships to deliver Google’s most successful Pixel launch yet.
